Tral shuts for 2nd consecutive day, life returns to normal in Pulwama

TRAL: A complete shutdown was observed on second consecutive day on Friday in Tral areas in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district to mourn the killing of three local militants and a civilian on August 9 at Gulab Bagh village of Tral.
Three militants Zahid Ahmad Bhat, resident of Nowdal, Ishaq Ahmad Bhat, resident of Batagund Tral, and Mohammad Ashraf, resident of Trich Pinglana, Pulwama and a 16-year- old boy Mohammad Younis Sheikh, resident of Saimoh Tral were killed on August 9 in Tral.
All the business establishments, banks, colleges and schools remained closed while as public transport remained off the roads. Heavy deployment of government forces was put in place in Tral town.
Hundreds of people from different areas of south Kashmir visited the residences of slain militants and a civilian and expressed sympathies with the bereaved families.
